EVision

Why this project?

India is witnessing rapid growth in electric vehicle (EV) adoption, driven by government incentives, rising environmental awareness, and advancements in EV technology. According to NITI Aayog, EVs are projected to account for 30% of total vehicle sales by 2030, while recent reports indicate that India's EV stock has already crossed 5.45 million vehicles in 2024, with sales continuing to grow.

This surge in EV adoption underscores the critical need for strategically planned charging infrastructure, especially in urban centers and high-traffic areas.

Global Perspective

International studies support the crucial role of strategic charging infrastructure. In Norway, the world leader in EV adoption with over 80% of new car sales being electric in 2023, success was largely attributed to their early focus on comprehensive charging networks. Similarly, China has demonstrated that strategic placement of charging stations in high-demand areas led to a 300% increase in EV adoption rates between 2020-2023.
